Running Accomplishments:

-I'm an avid runner and crossfitter turned obstacle racer.  This year has brought on new and unexpected opportunities racing in Spartan races.  I'm in love with this new challenging part of my life.

Here is what I've come away with so far

Short-Term Running Goals:

I am working to become the best obstacle  racer I can be.  If that goes hand in hand with a National Championship title, than I will have met 2 of my goals/dreams.

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Another sub 3 hour marathon

Sub 1:20 half marathon

I want to complete an ironman and some ultra races.

I Hope to be running until I'm 100.

 

Personal:

I have 2 boys (7 and 4) and a little girl (14 months) that keep me on my toes and make life worth living..  I've been married to my better half (Jim clark) for 10 years.  I teach fitness classes and am a personal trainer - my 2nd love is Zumba!  I love what i do!

I hold Obstacle Training Groups at my house on saturdays -I feel so blessed to be able to help others.

I knew I was going to be teaching zumba that night, so I wanted to hit up am crossfit.

7 push press - 55lbs

7 back squat - 55 lbs

400 m run

This workout was way too short but my kids were wanting to leave and I couldn't get extra in.

Zumba at night was awesome - taught with Bethany  - was so good to be back

Dang quads were sore today - prob from saturday.  I knew I was going to have to do some extra work on them.  Why do things start hurting all of a sudden. ugh.

This was my last ditch effort to get in some more hills.  It prob wasn't the smartest workout.

I ran into cholla creek, and did 3 intervals (400 m?) up a super steep dirt/ rock/ trail.  I was defintely tired from sat.

I don't know why, but this run took everything out of me?  I honestly had to walk the last mile cause I was just so winded.  That was not where I wanted to be.

I knew I needed to get somemore running in, and this WOD only took me 5 min.  So I went to the track and got some sprints in.  I wasn't up to a full workout, so I did 1x 400, 10 burpees , rest 1 min,1x600, 10 burpees 800, 1200m,  My times were not wonderful, probably cause this was all a little much.

Ran to susie's to get my kids.
